Ashley Park Storm Water Detention Pond and Water Main Rehabilitation

This project aims to mitigate flood risks in existing neighborhoods by implementing a comprehensive stormwater management system. The project involved the installation of 600mm-2100mm Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) to distribute storm water to a dry storm pond within existing neighborhoods. Additionally, it includes the replacement of outdated water mains to enhance water distribution infrastructure. Throughout the construction phase, temporary water supply solutions were implemented to ensure minimal disruption to homeowners. Specific scopes of work included:
- 310 meters of storm sewer main installed – 600mm to 2100mm diameter
- 263 meters of water main installed – 150mm to 250mm diameter
- 91 meters of 200mm sanitary sewer main installed
- Multiple large cast in place manholes installed
- Winter excavation of dry storm pond
