Hampton Village Business Park Sanitary Force Main

The Hampton Village Business Park Sanitary Force Main was a project undertaken with the goal of providing conveyance of sewage from the Hampton Village Business Park Lift Station to the Spadina Crescent Sanitary Sewage Trunk. A combination of Auger Boring and Directional Drilling methods were used to cross  railways, intersections and roadways such as Idylwyld and Airport Drive  while open cut trench box methods where used for the majority of the remainder to minimize the removal of asphalt from the road and lessen the impact on local businesses. Specific scopes of work included:

• Installed 5,331 meters of 350mm DR25 and 400mm DR11
• Completed 5 Horizontal Directional Drill trenchless crossings, totaling 702 meters
• Completed 4 Auger Bore Casing Crossings, totaling 207 meters
