Lubicon Lake Band Subdivision Development
Lubicon Lake Band Phase 1A Water, Wastewater, Roads and Related Systems
Little Buffalo, Alberta
HAMM Construction collaborated with the Lubicon Lake Band Nation (LLBV) in a strategic partnership to execute a comprehensive water, sewer, and roadway infrastructure project for a new residential reserve. The project established a workforce distribution of 60% personnel from LLBV and 40% from HAMM Construction, fostering local involvement and capacity building. The scope included the installation of underground utilities—water mains, sanitary and storm sewer systems—alongside the construction of roadway networks designed to service the development. In the first year of the two-year contract, the alliance successfully completed all underground infrastructure, setting a solid foundation for subsequent surface works and ensuring the project’s timely progression which wrapped up the following fall with all roadways being commissioned.
