Mountain View Regional Water Transmission Line Contract 2 and 3

Contract 2 and 3 contained elements of open trench and trenchless pipe installation methods. However, a substantial portion of the 30 kilometer project consisted of Horizontal Directional Drilling. Multiple sub-contractors were coordinated by Hamm to complete the project along Highway 2A. Managing the safety of employees was critical as traffic safety plans were implemented to control speeds of motor vehicles. Specific scopes of work included:

• 6 Highway crossings totaling 223 meters
• 62 meter Auger Bore beneath CP Rail line
• 16,773 meters of Horizontal Directional Drilling
